Our company took my team to see Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. Sigh. The special effects and action scenes were great. Other than that the acting was wooden, the dialog was lame, there were plots holes, there were plot contrivances, some of the camera work was shoddy. But... the special effects and action scenes were great. They kept the talking parts and character building scenes short enough that I didn't squirm in my seat too long before more action was on the screen. I guess it's daming with faint praise to say that the best part of "Attack of the Clones" was the editing. In the had hands of a lesser editor this would have been a very bad movie.
