I recall a Dilbert cartoon... "Employees really are our most valuable asset. Our stock jumps every time we lay you off. It's like printing cash!"
We announced layoffs today. Our stock did jump.
My teams were not affected. Everyone is more concerned for those that are gone.

Luckily, my industry has not been affected by these yet. Now if we go to war... that would be a different issue.
