 We are back in Seattle.

The mother-in-law will be here on Wednesday. She is here looking for a senior home to move into. She is 84 and living on her own. She recognizes that she is one bad day away from needing assistance. I'm thankful that she is doing this proactively and not after she's had another large physical meltdown.

Its encouraging that the Mother in Law is so progressive..... Take Care of Her... She's Special .. Progressive... at 84 its a wise decision.... we all should be plannings as she is doing... Now.

That is a proactive thing to do. Also, help her get her affairs in order. It is so much easier now while she is alive.

I like that your MIL is taking her own Fate into her Hands while she can... it's always harder when they don't and are resistant to getting met at their Point of Need in Placement that is more suitable. We're all gonna be there one day if we attain the privilege of growing Old... with the inevitable burdens that also brings with it. The Man and I are at the Age where I do have to think upon such things... if we weren't still Raising that last Teen Grandchild, when we made that Big Move early in 2020 I very well may have opted for a CCC if we could have afforded one... which we couldn't as a Couple and due to The Man already needing Full Time Caregiving... but it was an Option I knew would help us ride out to the Sunset Years.
