Last weekend I roto-tilled the lawn under. The lawn was half dead. Large parts of hit had no topsoil under the grass. Plus, the big fir trees all around it shead too many needles and make the soil too acid.

We are going to put in a low maintenance garden. I'm not sure of all the details, but RO knows what he wants.
