One of the symptoms of meth use is that self-doubt goes away. Paranoia takes over. When a meth users looses their keys they start to think "Someone is breaking into my house and stealing my things." When a meth user becomes confused by a smart-phone glitch they start to think they have been hacked.

The brother-in-law has started down that path. He misconfigured his phone. It must be a hack. He doesn't understand the messages on his home router. That must be hacked too.

All this scaring the husband. Meth is such a horrible drug. The brother-in-law is going to burn his life up again. All we can do is stand back and watch it happen.

I have seen Firefly on crack. Those drugs do insane things to the brain. I do not know how anyone can get away without being permanently affected.

The Gay HIV community is very well aware of the effects of "Tina" "Dancing with the Lady". There are two groups of users in this societal sub-culture, the addict and the occasional user when the sexual encounter occurs. The matter at hand, sounds to be the addict, Yes, the occasional user could fall into the crevasse of Use... but as my social research has found that rarely happens if the sexual base Tina user carefully controls himself.

For me, there is No Use.

But the Gay Community at this point in time uses this powerful stimulant as a Connector in the HIV culture much more than the broader Gay Culture.

No Use is better for all.

Have gone thru this with the prodigal Child, which is why I'm Raising some of her Children. After over 25 years she finally got clean from it, but it's a harsh drug that really ravages the individual permanently. Having Retired from the D.A.'s office, I can tell you that our Office tracked Meth Users who had been convicted, because there is a high rate of serious crimes committed by those who prefer this dangerous Drug and it's one that often makes the User unusually Violent and unpredictable. I think the other scary new one out there is Fentanyl.
